Remembrance Sunday
Owen Miles led a short but pleasant ride to the RAF Memorial at Runnymede. Sadly Robin Moorby's father died last year. He served with the RAF Bomber Command all through the war and had already bought a Bomber Command Wreath which Robin laid on his behalf and Julie Palmer laid a wreath on behalf of SCUK. Afterwards an early lunch was taken at the National Trust cafe beside the Thames. Very aptly this was where King John signed Magna Carta in 1215, the basis of freedom and democracy for the English which our people are still dying to protect.
